A Weekend in Vermont

The Texas gal in me that gets so excited to see fall colors. I thought a trip to Vermont would be an amazing way to celebrate fall with my family. The east coast is known to have stunning colors, though we didn’t hit peak time, we saw breathtaking views.

We stayed at a beautiful Airbnb and checked out Ludlow local eateries.

We would recommend The Hatchery.

Marcus hasn’t stopped talking about the biscuits and gravy. Everything from the pumpkin pancakes, cinnamon roll French toast to the fresh squeezed orange juice got high rating from my whole family.

For ultimate foliage sights get on a chair lift at Okemo Mountain Resort. Micah said it made his heart happy. It felt like you’re flying in the trees. A few more weeks and those colors would be insane.

Check out my Instagram for more views from the chair lift.

Maliah absolutely loves seeing animals, and Wellwood Orchards was the perfect place for that. They have a petting zoo, wagon rides, apple picking, and a market store, not to mention the backdrop. It’s a perfect stop if you’re traveling with little ones.

I'm so grateful to my husband, brothers, and sister-in-law jumped in on this plan. It's always a good time when we're together. I absolutely love seeing my kids and their cousins together too.

Thanks for reading, and happy fall!
