How to Make a Capsule Wardrobe for Kids!
I’m so happy you’re here! This is how I cultivate seasonal capsule wardrobes for my children.
Practicality: I make sure to
factor in extra activities, upcoming trips, and the usual wear each child puts
on clothing. For example, my son is in spring sports, so he needs activewear.
Budget: I always make a budget to
keep myself reeled in.
Color Scheme: I choose a color
scheme to ensure every piece can mix and match.
These things make it easier to get
my kids ready without fuss. The biggest help is including pieces of interest
for them. For example, my son is intrigued with superheroes right now. The
neutral Marvel pieces work for us both, being easy to coordinate and making him
feel good.
Here is an example of how I plan
it out using my son’s spring wardrobe.
Tops (2 Sweaters, 6 T-Shirts, 2 Long
Sleeves)
Bottoms (4 Joggers, 4 Shorts, 2
Fancy Pants)
Shoes (Sandals, Rain Boots, Swim Shoes,
Sneakers, Vans)
Accessories/Seasonal (Sunhat, Sports
Gear, Swimwear, Jacket)
I hope this was helpful and gives y’all
a place to start.
XO,
