DIY Busy Board
I am always a “How much?! Nah, I will just make it," momma. Here
is my latest DIY, a busy board. It is perfect for my youngest to grow into, but
also great for my toddlers in the car. I made mine for just under $15. I love
that you can make them simple or really elaborate.
Reasons I love busy boards:
They can help with sensory skills, fine motor, and imaginative play.
They keep your little one’s mind busy and engaged.
They are customized toys.
Here is what I used:
Wood Board
Lock Latch
Door Stoppers
Tap Light Switch
Xylophone (Repurposed an older toy)
Pull Handle
Zipper
Paint
Screws (Make sure the length is appropriate for the board)
Screwdriver
Paintbrushes
Command Strip
How To:
Set the board up and arrange the items to see how you would like
them.
Paint or prep any of the items
Drill holes for the hardware
Secure everything down, double check this step
Play!
Disclaimer: (Always monitor your child while playing with the busy
boards.)
Thank you so much for stopping by.
