Spring Crafts for Kids
Hey y'all, Thanks for being here.
I won't bug y'all with too much talk, let's get crafting.
You’ll need:
scissors
cardboard
recycled paper of any kind
glue
yarn or pom poms
goggley eyes
This one is for advanced cutting skills. I cut out everything and put it together with my four-year-old. Just simple cut out the ladybug in cardboard and glue it. We will be using this one later for ladybug anatomy, so I wanted it to be detailed.
Ladybug #2
My four-year-old put this one together all on his own. I laid the
parts out for him and walked him through it. My two-year-old also made one, she
just needed a bit more help getting her sticker backs off, but she’s a glue
stick pro. That is always her favorite part of crafting.
Cut out the ladybug body in red. The head and spots are black
sticker foam. We used black yarn for the antennas and legs. Then glue on the goggley
eyes.
Caterpillar
This one is the simplest of the three. Cut out a leaf and glue
your yarn pom poms on in a row. Then add googley eyes.
I hope these give you some crafting ideas for spring. My toddlers
do not like bugs, so I introduce them this way. I hope it makes it easier when
they meet a new friend in the garden.
XO,
