Baby + Toddler Girl Fall Capsule

Ah, I am so excited to be sharing our capsule wardrobes. I am loving this change for my family. A capsule wardrobe is cost efficient, organized, and guarantees use. In other words it's saving the earth, stylishly. Maliah’s wardrobe is up first.

That is all I have in her collection. The goal is to have a few essential pieces that mix and match with seasonal pieces. We live in the desert, so adjust these items based on the weather in your area. I always size up on layering items to extend use.

The Process:

1.      First, I always think of the color scheme and outfit inspiration. I like to stick to muted colors that pair easily together. I love yellows and pinks. I have a love for classic style that is usually evident as well.

2.      Then I form my budget and item list.

3.      I take the list to my favorite sites. I usually then go check resale apps.

(Postmark & Kidizen)

I typically get more unique items from small shops or thrifting. I get layering items and outerwear at H&M and Zara.

Local children's second hand shops are a major key!*

I also prefer to shop small. About 90% of this wardrobe is from them directly or small shop resale finds.

One major reason to shop small is how it directly affects the families behind the brand. It's also easier to align style with values. Some ethical and sustainable brands I love are:

 Sweet as April

Little Urban Apparel

The Humble Soles

Quincy Mae

Sun and Lace

Fawn and Lace

Jamie Kay

Sweet as April is the brand behind Maliah's beautiful bonnets. Can you believe they are sewn from thrifted materials? I love that each bonnet is one of a kind, and she even lined Maliah's in satin. The inclusive design makes me proud to support this brand.

More stores I love:

H&M

Zara

Shop Olivia J

Little Stocking Co

Anzanas Treasures

Sammy Knots

Bash Baby Clothing

Ives and Indy

Piper Finn

Kate Quinn

Rylee + Cru

I hope this was helpful and inspiring. I want other moms to see you can live your life joyfully in your means. I saved way more money and resisted the spend traps. IYKYK

XO,
